FEBRULOUS: The Journey not the Destination

I may have had incredibly sore knees - but this was my undisputed highlight of Februlous.....
Well that and running 10km in 1 hour 6 mins with Pui-Tien and Jo......
Well actually getting an amazing pressie from the Cheiftan of Cool: My Fitblr Buddy and my first ever bunch of fleurs also made Februlous rock........
In short there were no shortage of Februlous highlights!! THANK YOU xx

Well today is the last day of February and I'm more than a little glad as this marks the end of the seemingly never ending 280km Februlous Challenge. Today also marks the first BIG fitness challenge I didn't emerge victorious from.

Really my Februlous Challenge was over 2 weeks ago - when knackered knees and insufficient fitness made it clear that I wasn't close to ready to running 280km in a month. I managed 100km in 12 days (including 90km in 9 days back to back) so I'm chuffed to have made it that far.  I never thought I'd actually be able to run my daily 10km commute rather than walk it - and whilst it was by no means perfect running, I battled on and kept on battling repeatedly for nine days.

I also learnt some important lessons during Februlous:

  • Following an actual training plan, not just designing one and adequately preparing is VITALLY IMPORTANT. I hadn't attempted a 10km for a few months prior to Februlous. Going from a mileage of 0-8km a week to 70km a week, in hindsight, was never going to be the world's best plan. Actually it's a miracle I managed 100km at all!!

  • It is so good to really push yourself and see what you are capable of - I did and discovered that I could run 10km for 9 days straight. I never knew that about myself. It wasn't the 28 days of 10kms that I had originally set as my goal but surely there's no such thing as failure when you push yourself outside your comfort zone in the first place?

  • I LOVE racing with friends - FRIENDS make the race and ensure you go the distance. HILARIOUS COSTUMES make the race seem shorter!

  • Mental resolve isn't limitless. Life will throw you curve balls - for me that manifested over the last few weeks as job insecurities, redundancy and financial hassles which weakened my typical fitness focus. I am not a machine - I got distracted, I got stressed, I got injured and I comfort ate my way to putting on 4lbs. In the end I had to take time out from Februlous - give my knees a rest, focus my energies on other more pressing priorities to get me over this hump and to allow me to get my head back in the fitness game. Step backs in career, weight, fitness, relationships are a fact of life - but it's up to me to ensure that the step backs are only temporary. The support that my friends have shown me over the last few weeks has made such a massive difference in ensuring that I do actually effect a 'comeback' and I couldn't be more grateful.

  • I need to rediscover a structured training schedule that works for me, that is sufficiently diverse, that excites me and most importantly ensures I stay active 5-6 times a week. After all the running, I've been hankering to take up swimming lessons, boxing and trampolining again - activities that my knees might just approve of - well the swimming at least!!

  • Recovery days and a great stretching routine are WAY more important than I previously gave them credit for. Running everyday is nigh on impossible. Slow and steady with scheduled rest days is superior to fast, furious and unrelenting (though clearly my running is anything but fast!) Running 10km for nine days straight made me a tad loopy by day 9, not to mention, gave me rather 'lovely' blistered feet, a black toenail, sore knees and achy hips. Definitely one painful lesson I won't forget in a hurry.

But tomorrow marks a new month, with fresh challenges (better fortune?) and lighter and hopefully warmer Spring days!! My March goals include losing the four pounds I put on during Februlous, progressing through my virtual Great Wall of China Walking challenge, establishing a routine of running 25km every week but MOST IMPORTANTLY rediscovering the fun in getting fitter. After all there is the little {BIG} matter of kicking off "The Sky's the Limit" 8 month fitness challenge I am embarking on with Challenge Hannah{As this next challenge is a little more complicated that my previous fitness challenges - I've created a separate page on my Girl on a Mission blog where I have noted, in full, the details of the IMMENSE task at hand and where I will be tracking and ticking off Challenge Hannah and my progress (OR NOT!!) to that open plane door!!}

Fortunately when one door closes, another one opens. Though if the door in question happens to be that of an aeroplane, then pray to God you are strapped to an experienced parachutist!! xx

Mila Kunis :: Flirting with Aron Rodgers ??

"Black Swan" Actress Mila Kunis was spotted flirting up a storm with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers at the Circa Hollywood Dominos Oscars party in Los Angeles, the New York Post reported Sunday.

Insiders said " they were seen mingling and sipping on Moet &Chandon champagne at an outdoor table and seemed to keep to themselves until friends arrived" at the Sunset Tower Hotel event Thursday."

Another source said Kunis was "very keen" on talking with the Super Bowl MVP, and he loved the attention.

Rodgers was previously linked to "Gossip Girl" star Jessica Szohr, and rumors of a flirtation between Kunis and"The Social Network" star Justin Timberlake also keep swirling despite his ongoing relationship with Jessica Biel.

Fragrance Direct

Hey everyone,
I thought I'd do a little post about an online order I made from one of the many discount cosmetics websites out there. It's a website that's only recently just came to my attention, so I thought some of you might not have heard about it either and that this might be helpful. The website in question is fragrancedirect.co.uk, they sell other things such as perfumes and skin care, but I only ordered 3 make up items. All of the make up is drugstore, but at surprisingly lower prices than they already are. Here are the few bits I ordered...

Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick 'Birthday Suit'
I put this in my online shopping cart, purely because it was such an unbelieveable bargain! I ummed and ahhed about this shade many times in Boots or Superdrug but always shrugged it off because most likely, I have something similar sitting at home. The RRP is £4.99 but on this website it was a mere 99p! How amazing is that? Obviously shades are limited, but they have quite a wide range. You can find this lipstick here.

Maybelline Pulse Perfection mascara
I've always wondered whether this is purely a gimmick or whether the vibration really does make a difference to application. However, I was not willing to pay the £15.49 that they charge... I think you'll all agree this is extremely high for a drugstore mascara. A few more quid and I could get myself YSL Faux Cils. I snapped this up at £3.75 which is a big saving. I'll let you know what I think about it! You can find this mascara here.

NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder 'Sunny'
Again, another product I've always wanted to try... I'm not a massive fan of brozer, but if it's matte I'm definitely interested! I'm not sure why I've never picked it up before because it's only £3.99 but this website gave me a great excuse because it's only £1.99. You can find this bronzer here.

Now, when I got to the checkout I thought this was going to be the catch... that they were going to charge some extortinate ammount to bring the stuff to my house. They don't! The delivery charge is £1.95, which is pretty decent for any online store. It only took 3 days from the day I ordered (although it says it can take up to 5), and they were all in perfect condition.

The website is certainly worth a look... There are plenty of other things I wanted, but I'm trying to save money and also wanted to see what the website was like first. They even have Revlon Colorstay on there! Of course all shades are limited for everything, but they have some popular ones on there too.

Have you ordered from this website before - am I just late finding out? Lol.

It's OFFICIAL: I'm IN LOVE xx

I LOVE it when people tell me their name - at each and every encounter with them. I forget everyone's names ALL the time. Please don't assume that just 'cos I may have known you for 16+ years I will remember your name. I won't. Sorry. I never forget a face though ;-)

Could JD's shades be any cooler?? - If I owned these I would never leave the neoned lit mirror room like so:

p.s. I still have a crook in my neck - but I think it might have something to do with throwing down some cool break dancing moves whilst I downloaded this track to my shuffle. Who can resist the 'Worm'? - KIDDING - my brand of robot scissor arms, shoulder pops and head sways are way cooler ;-))

Hmm time for Girl on a Mission's DANCE VIDEO TUTORIAL - I think not!! xx

p.p.s If you go by the title Lil Sis then feel free to make me a Valentine Card as per the YouTube Advertisement - being sick is no excuse - V'Day was two weeks ago and I haven't stopped harrassing the postie for my card yet. xx

Sunday Stepping Success

I am writing this lying on my bedroom carpet floor, in the manner of my teenage self. It's the best way of snuggling up to the radiator and keeping warm - today's shock exertions has clearly put my body into shock!!

(As a teen, I spent my life lying belly down on my bedroom carpet either reading or listening to my 'Sony Walkman' - God that reference makes me PREHISTORIC!!)

Anywho - today has been a success:
  • Run:  BIG TICK - In the end I jogged 5km with Sunday Runners: AJ and Kaye (Kaye's Paris Half Marathon is now just a week away so Kaye is in FINE form!!) Then I walked the remaining 5km solo, whilst Kaye legged it - quite right too!! But not bad for my first run in two weeks.
We actually reversed the route - MORE DOWNHILLS!!

Yup - I'm still a jog/walker though some of the dips are traffic light stops - pinky swear!!

Proof I walked the second 5km in 42 mins
  • Steps: Achieved just under 30,000 steps in total today!!!!!!!
Today's steps - hour by hour
    February Fitbug Step Tracker
Key: Pink = Aerobic and Total Step Targets met
    Grey = Targets not met
Blue = Aerobic Target met only
Black Line = Daily Total Step Target required to complete the Virtual Wall of China
Blue Line = Daily Aerobic Step Target (i.e. staying active for over 10 mins at a time)
As you can see, I made a big upswing in my walking efforts today - that and I didn't have time to go home between Sunday Run Club and meeting friends for lunch in South Kensington, so I just kept on walking and walking. Hopefully this signals the return of 'The Walking Machine'.

All that walking proved to be more than worth it - my gnocci was particularly gnice (the convo was also very gnice girlies - THANK YOU)!! Plus I must have burned off that yummy lunch, just check out the calories I've burnt over the last few weeks (according to FitBug). Today is my best day yet: 1760 kcals ANNIHILATED - just as well - see below!!

    February Fitbug Kcal Tracker

    • Chocolate consumption: One Hummingbird Cupcake. In truth Lola's Cupcakes are better.
N.B. I haven't eaten a Lola Cupcake in about 6 months - WOOOOOOOOOOOOP I do possess a smidgeon of self-control!! Plus this morning's very instructional lecture from AJ on the correct Cream Egg/ chocolate consumption is still in the forefront of my mind!! I daren't disobey AJ - for a week at least!! xx

Must go - typing whilst lying on the floor is giving me pins and needles and a stiff neck - my teen self was evidently more supple than my current frame!! xx

Amber Heard :: GLAAD's help out to come out

Hollywood Actress Amber Heard who attended GLAAD's 25th Anniversary event in Hollywood late last year with partner Tasya van Ree, credits the organization for allowing her to come out.

“GLAAD is one of the many reasons that I, as a 24-year-old, can come out.”

Heard later says about the media attention surrounding her sexuality,

“I’m not one to talk about my personal life as I prefer to keep that as private as possible,”
she told. “Since that event, there has been a lot of media attention surrounding my relationship.

“It’s been frustrating as I don’t label myself one way or another — I have had successful relationships with men and now a woman. I love who I love, it’s the person that matters.”

    Months Most Wanted

    Hey ladies,
I haven't actually been lusting over much this month... which is a bit odd. But these five things I've been wanting a lot.

Faux Alexander Wang Rocco: I am absolutely in love with these bags, and always have been since I first laid my eyes on one. It's so simple but the studded hardware bottom is sooo gorgeous! Although I would never be able to afford one (and I wouldn't want to spend all that money on one either), I wouldn't mind at all getting a 'fake' or look-a-like. A little while ago Victoria did a post showing one that she got on ebay, I have to have one of those babies!
    [£20.00 approx]

D&G 3 L'Imperatrice: I was browsing the perfumes in Boots a few days ago and spritzed this D&G fragrance on one of those little pieces of cards... it was gorgeous! Really fresh and fruity, so of course I sprayed it on my wrists and off I went home. When I got home I could smell something really good and couldn't work out what it was, and it was this! I really like the simple, sleek bottle too.
    [100ml, £35.75]

Accessorize Baked Bronzer 'Golden Sand': I really overlooked the Accessorize make up when it first came out, I just wasn't interested. When I was in Superdrug I saw the baked bronzer and they looked so pretty. I swatched this shade and it was stunning, it would made the perfect highlight. I don't own any MAC MSF's but this is what I imagined they'd be like!
    [£6.00]

New Look Button Dip Hem shirt 'Sand': I mentioned recently that I'm absolutely loving sheer shirts and shirts in general. New Look are doing some really good affordable alternatives to those that Topshop are offering. I love the collar, I love the colour and I love the gold buttons. Great for layering whilst the weather is still warming up but will look great in the Spring/Summer also.
    [£15.99]

New Look Pleated Blouse 'Cedar': Again, loving shirts and this is another brilliant one from New Look. I'd probably buy this in a size bigger so that it's longer on me and can wear it with leggings, it's such an effortless look but still on trend. I think this would look good paired with a vintage style silk scarf.
    [£19.99]

What have you been lusting over in the month of February? It's such a 'blah' month isn't it?!

    Sluggish

My Fitbug CANNOT be fooled - it has sent me this message twice over the last few days:

Somehow it knows that I have lost my focus - for the last year I have been a WALKING MACHINE but lately walking to the end of the road seems too much effort. I must up the ante on the walking front and complete my Virtual Wall of China Walking Challenge (right now I've yet to leave the starting blocks). I miss having SUPERchick training sessions to keep me on training form 5/6 + times a week.

Less Training = Massive Energy Slump.
Massive Energy slump = I cannot even be bothered to walk to the end of the road.

A fact even cursory acquaintances have noticed: I was surprised to be stopped by one such kindly-intentioned acquaintance on Friday evening who questioned why I wasn't walking home. Eeek if my apathy is that obvious - I seriously need to do something.

Plus the massive downside to not walking/ training for my customary 15 hours + each week is that I basically spend all this free time working only my stomach muscle and then only with the the inexcusable death-by-chocolate routine.

In my worst slump ever - I somehow inhaled (mumbled, eyes cast to the floor in shame) 6 (honestly 6) Cream Eggs last night (and it was far too easy) before I remembered my all too likely fate if these poor eating choices continue:

Such is the fear of free-falling and the current tightness of my size 12 waistband, I haven't done a chocolate run today. I WAS in my pyjamas by 8.30pm tonight to ensure I didn't get tempted, but desperate times call for desperate measures - that and I need to get an early night in preparation for tomorrow's 9am 10km run.

I have a suspicion that death by cream egg splatterage might be preferable to tomorrow's death by running-induced-suffocation, if my assessment of my rubbish current fitness levels is accurate - eeek - but even if it takes me 100 minutes +, I will complete the 10km route, come what may and my Nike Sportsband will prove it!! xx

    Taylor Swift: Dating Glee star??

Country music star Taylor Swift has tongues wagging with a potential matchup with "Glee's" star Chord Overstreet.

The pair were photographed at the LA Kings Hockey game.

    A source tells US Magazine,

    "They looked pretty good together.
"They've met a few times," the Overstreet source explains to Us, adding that his brother, Nash Overstreet of the band Hot Chelle Rae, penned a rap song that Swift performed with T-Pain at the CMT Awards in 2009.

    An insider said :  "Chord's a lady's man,"

Taylor Swift has previously met with another "Glee" actor earlier in the year, so it's likey the Chord and Taylor or "just friends"

Christina Aguilera : feels sexuality to be very empowering

Singer Christina Aguilera doesn’t act sexy for the men in the world — she does it for herself!“I feel sexuality to be very empowering,” the 29-year-old singer, who raises son Max with husband Jordan Bratman, told Britain’s Company magazine.

I think men love to believe that they own our sexuality, so if a woman represents herself in a sexual way, people think, ‘Oh it must be for a man.’“If I want to be sexual, it’s for my own appreciation and enjoyment! That’s why I like to talk about the fact that sometimes I am attracted to women. I appreciate their femininity and beauty.”
Aguilera married Bratman almost five years ago,she knew her husband was The One the first time they met.
“Everything was a little blurry and he was the one concrete person that I could trust,” she said. “He was centered, grounded and always helped me see the positive in the negative. He would lift me out of my black hole of sometimes feeling sucked in by the negativity of people around me. My husband is the calm in the storm.”

Christina recently revealed that she has a tendency to “get into girls”.

“My husband knows that I get into girls. I think it’s fun to be open and play. The line is real to me,” she said. “My husband and I check in with each other, but I definitely love women. I think they’re more attractive to the naked eye.“I don’t think I could ever really be with a woman because that’s a lot of… estrogen… and I’m a lot to deal with when it’s that time of the month, so I can’t imagine it times two. And… I love d**k. To be honest, that I cannot live without.”

    Wardrobe SOS

“Wearing 20% of your wardrobe 80% of the time”
    A great fashion truism

In my case I probably wear and wash the same 18 items of clothes (excluding underwear), all exclusively work out gear and work wear, week in and out without fail – sometimes this is probably more like 10-12 items of clothing if I have nowhere to go and no-one to see and so just live in pyjamas and work out gear, otherwise known as “My Day Pyjamas”. Up to 8 additional items of clothing get worn maybe once a month on special occasions – the remaining items in my wardrobe NEVER see the light of day.

I have been promising myself to get my chest of drawers and wardrobe properly organised all Winter but have so far resisted as:

    a) I wasn’t convinced I wouldn’t just put all the weight I’ve lost right back on again and thus require the tent like shapes that masquerade as large sized clothes.

    b) Clothes shopping is not one of my natural talents – case in point – despite 3 separate trips to two different London shopping Meccas over the last four months to buy a replacement pair of skinny jeans that actually fit me, and despite trying on dozens of pairs in different stores – I have so far failed to find a pair that do fit my legs, bum AND tum. So is it wise to throw the old ones out before I find a suitable replacement?

    c) In my cupboard, hangs the manifestations of all sorts of epic emotional traumas – some of these have never been worn as a result or never will, but do I really have the strength to deal with them?

    d) Having to deal with the items that don’t deserve to be thrown away but cannot be sorted and neatly put back – is another hassle entirely – the must fix/ get professionally cleaned/ give away task is really the one I’ve been putting off.

    e) Reading Lauren Conran’s 'Style' guide on cleaning out your closet – I was really enthused to get going til I read that she had a professional team of four people assisting her for three days to organise her closet – LA Style!! Granted she likely doesn’t own the 80% exact same limited wardrobe as she did when she was a University student 5 years previously and granted that Lauren’s closet has its own designated room – but really is this a task I should or could attempt to go-it-alone?

Major procrastination followed…….every weekend…......for months. But this week’s Spring Fever and the end of London Fashion Week has made me bite the bullet – a Wardrobe SOS has been issued to a major style fiend and in the interim I am thinking of applying the following three wardrobe clearout rules, depicted here as a flowchart - check those management skills!!:

I've also appending the following Four Additional Generic Clearout Principles to my three rules:

    1. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE, IGNORE THE PREVIOUS THREE CLEAROUT RULES JUST BECAUSE THE ITEM IN QUESTION *SPARKLES*

    2. Does it suit my new hair style? Yes = Keep, No - Giveaway

    3. Allow myself a MAXIMUM 5 wardrobe lifelines – 1 to be applied to the bin pile and 4 to be applied, if necessary, to the giveaway pile and the items allowed to return to the deepest, darkest recesses of the wardrobe.

    4. If, at the end of the clear out, my wardrobe no longer contains anything suitable to wear to a job interview (V. Important) or a party (Critically Important), retract the best possible alternatives from the bin/ giveaway pile.

So here's to a weekend of "The Great Wardrobe Clearout" for this particular London Singleton. Hopefully I will emerge from the chaos with a perfectly formed capsule wardrobe rather than a closet that epitomises the Emperor’s New Clothes fable!! xx

Everything that glitters is not gold [NOTD]

    Hello lovelies,
In my recent haul, a lot of you seemed interested in the 17 High Gloss nail polish 'Sphinx' a gorgeous glittery gold. I was really excited to try this out, it's so beautiful in the bottle and I had high hopes that it would on the nails too. So this is a post to showcase my new, golden nails! It retails for a mere £3.49 which is pretty decent...

Firstly, this applied like a dream, three swipes of the brush and the nail was done. This was actually three coats, but you could definitely just do two and still get the same effect. Drying time was pretty average, it wasn't speedy but I wasn't hanging around for ages picking things up with my toes in a bid not to smudge my nails either. I love the sparkle it gives, without having big chunks of glitter. I can't comment on the staying power because I've only just applied it - but so far I'm super happy. I can't wait to wear this with a tan in the summer... it's going to be epic ;)

What other gold nail polishes would you recommend?

Jill Stuart Mix blush - Milky Strawberry Review

Every princess needs a decent arsenal of vanity-worthy prettiness.

If you are that type of girl, you need some Jill Stuart in your life! I don't understand why American cosmetic companies don't put much thought into developing a product that *looks* nice...I guess it's all about makeup-on-the-go or the whole fast food mentality or whatnot.

I like feeling spoiled. I LOVE Jill Stuart.

    Jill Stuart Mix Blush Review

    *Milky Strawberry*

Milky Strawberry is the newest blush in the Mix Blush series launched in the Spring Collection for 2011, Innocent Sexy.

    Official description

"sweet and fluffy milky pink, reminiscent of strawberry milk"

It being a brand new release, I went on pure chance, hoping the color would suit my skintone.

Like all Jill Stuart cosmetics, the compacts are princess-y and ornate albeit plastic. The little goat hair brush is attached on a metal-link chain but can be removed. The brush is retractable with a pink crystal tab!

    Jill Stuart mix blush

The blush itself with and without flash

The upper left corner is a pearly light pink highlighter, the upper right corner, a dusty rose. The bottom two colors are my favorite and add a nice punch to the entire palette - the lower left is hot pink fuchsia and the lower right is a bright pinky peach

    JS Milky Strawberry flash

Jill Stuart Milky Strawberry no flash

The brush after swirling in all 4 colors

    Jill Stuart dipped brush

The blush on my cheeks with and without flash

    JS Milky Strawberry on

Jill Stuart Milky Strawberry on no flash

*Also sporting Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color N in Jewel Flash, a gorgeous shimmery light purple*

Like the collection's namesake, it really gives you an innocent pink flush of color on the cheeks - I think the peachy pink made it wearable on my Texas-tanned complexion! The shimmer is sophisticated and subtle - a great everyday blush! I was surprised that it showed up so well and am dying to try out Little Bouquet for a more peachy Summer blush.

The product is scented - a very light, pretty floral that is not at all overbearing

    Rating: ♥♥ (5/5)

If it weren't for the hefty price tag, I would own them all!!!

    ***

On a side note, I saw the color OPI's Italian Love Affair on a co-worker and now am on a mission to purchase and share. It is the perfect dolly pearl pink! Will share soon :)

Hope you all are having a good week - very excited to meet up with fellow bloggers this weekend!!!

    Armagedd-it-on

I’m so happy to see the sun shining today: 17 degrees baby. Bikini weather is acoming and with it my bikinilicious motivation is returning with avengeance. Porridge for brekkie, salad for lunch and a banana and an apple for snacks (ok so a packet of mini eggs did sneak in as well). But progress is progress.

Plus it’s my first training session tonight since knee issues and Sunday’s Armageddon 5 hour training session, headed up by Richard Callender of Biggest Loser Training fame.

I did mean to give you a lowdown on Armageddon earlier in the week and even wrote a review but realised that I was WAY more interested in speculating on who wins Biggest Loser next week, (some of the Biggest Loser contestants who were also at Sunday’s Armageddon), than talking about my complete lack of finesse at Armageddon.

Lucinda and Luc's BF fighting over their future husband

But it was exercise and I was fortunate enough to be gifted a ticket by Hannah (THANK YOU), so to Armagged-it-over with here’s a very brief rundown of Armageddon: The Fourth Chapter:

    1. Armageddon Circuit – AWESOME if a little cramp for space – having someone squat on your head whilst you are planking is not an experience I wish to repeat. But picked up some new training moves so VERY HAPPY Bunny.

    2. Zumba – Had no idea what to expect but the neon-tastic troop made zumbaaing surprisingly manageable even if you can’t dance – a fun version of classic aerobics. If it doubt, shake something baby.

    3. Boxing – Fun but signalled the beginning of the “let’s learn one 90 second routine and then repeat it for the next 50 mins” syndrome. Also the scene of oops I accidentally kicked Zandela. Quick shuffle left.

    4. Body Fit to Michael Jackson Tunes – Great Instructor and combining western and cheesy gansta moves to Micky J – HILARIOUS. Plus the longest squat hold I’ve ever experienced.

Where's Wally?? - Proof I was there even if I was pulling a face!!

    5. Urban Funk - I have no dance coordination or cool factor so Urban Funk became more Funky Chicken. Richard may be easy on the eyes but honestly it was my least favourite session and the session where “let’s learn one 90 second routine and then repeat it for the next 50 mins” syndrome REALLY started to get on my nerves. Burnt about -2 kcals just shuffling back and forward trying not to get picked on by Richard for my inability to dance OR to look remotely cool. Hiding at the back behind a well built type has some benefits ;-))

    6. Ab Session – Have to admit I departed before this – my enthusiasm had completely dissipated – Urban Funk had put me in a Funk and my uber low boredom threshold had kicked in big time. So off I went to relinquish my fun Sunday afternoon.

    5/6 Participation, 4/6 Effort, 4/6 Enjoyment

As much as I loathe running, I get so much more enjoyment and a greater sense of personal achievement from races than I ever will from a marathon aerobics session, regardless of how it is packaged. Sorry xx

p.s. I reckon Wil will win Biggest Loser – he definitely looked like he’d lost A LOT more weight and in my opinion Claire deserves to win runner up – she’s works out, at crazy PT levels of effort – INSANE! Though I suspect that Rob (who wasn’t at Armageddon) will be looking supersvelte – he has been uberfocused all through the series so must surely have the best outsider chance of winning runner up. Only a few more days to wait – eeek! I LOVE weight-loss reveals like other ladies LOVE George Clooney.

Uma thurman :: her stalker Jack Jordan is attempting to negotiate a plea deal

"Kill Billy" actress ,Uma Thurman's convicted stalker is in the process of working out a plea deal after it was revealed that he tried to contact the actress after his 2008 conviction.
Jake Jordan has been behind bars since December and is due back in court on March 30th 2011.

Uma's stalker Jack Jordan is attempting to negotiate a plea deal after a judge on Wednesday (23rd February 2011) said there was enough evidence support a new charge of stalking, reports the New York Daily News. Jordan was convicted in 2008 of stalking and harassing 40-year-old Thurman, best known for her roles in QUENTIN TARANTINO's 'Pulp Fiction' and Kill Bill movies.
He was sentences to three years' probation and told he was forbidden from trying to contact the star for five years. However, prosecutors in the new case say that Jordan called some of Thurman's phone lines and demanded to speak with the actress on at least two occasions in October 2010. According to court papers, authorities raided Jordan's parents' home in Maryland in November and found the words 'Uma Thurman J'adore' or 'I love Uma Thurman' typed into a Google search bar on his computer. If the new case goes to trial, Jordan would face up to four years in prison but his defence lawyer Sam Robertssaid, "Any disposition.. would not include felony charges, certainly he didn't commit a felony".
