Month's Most Wanted

Hello everyone!
I feel like I must say this every single Month, but how quickly is this year going? Pretty scary to be honest. My most wanted items are probably a bit boring this Month... having low £££ really does stop me from window (online) shopping which is usually how I pass a lot of my time!

H&M Flared Skirt Dress: Every high street shop seems to be making copies of the infamous dress that Frankie Sandford wore and I have to say I actually think this one is my favourite! As well as being the cheapest one I've come across (please correct me if I'm wrong!). I adore everything in the A/W H&M Collection when I went through the catalogue, but this was one of the stand-out pieces for me. It also comes in a beautiful orange/rust colour and black... it'll be hard to resist buying those too!
[£14.99]

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter: I love The Body Shop body butters and I'm running low at the moment, just my peach one left. Shock horror I know! Although in my opinion they are massively over priced, I just can't resist and something about them is so luxurious. Shouldn't be a problem though because The Body Shop always have some fantastic deals and offers going on! This is the next one I need to restock, possibly my fave.
[£12.50 for 200ml]

MAC Melba Powder Blush: This seems like the most perfect peach blush, I've lusted over swatches and the blush from afar for ages now, but I need this in my life ASAP. Even the price cannot deter me, the colour is just perfect. If anyone knows of a dupe I would love you forever!
[£17.00]

St Moriz Self Tanning Lotion: St Moriz is a cult product throughout the Blogging and Youtube community, and pretty much everyone and their nan has tried it out. Like most, I've tried the mousse and really liked it but they've just recently released a 'lotion' which I think I would prefer and need to try! It's currently on sale on Fragrance Direct so grab yourself even more of a bargain!
[Usually £4.99, £2.99 currently]

MAC Hue Lipstick: I have no idea how I've never owned this lipstick, again, another product I've lusted over for a while. I think it is one of the must-have items from MAC and it pretty much universally loved. I'm a lover of nude/pinks so could anything else be better suited?
[£13.50]

So that's another Month done and dusted! Have you tried any of these products? Let me know what you thought!

Month's Most Wanted

Hey guys :)
It's coming to the end of June now - which means another edition of Month's Most Wanted! In all honesty, I found this month quite difficult to decide what I've been lusting over... I've put myself on a month long make-up spending ban so there aren't really any make up items in this months. I am desperately trying to save money at the moment, and it should get a little bit easier when I start work soon. But I also wanted to put myself on a ban because 1) I have far too much make up that doesn't get enough love already and 2) I simply want to see if I can do it! Haha. Wish me luck!

LUSH Fresh Farmacy: I'm on a bit of a search for some new skincare and it occured to me a few days ago that I've never really tried any LUSH skin care items (apart from Grease Lightning) and I've heard really great things about it. You can see what it claims here on their website and it all looks promising! It's pretty affordable too if it lasts for a long time :)
[£4.35, 100g]

Pandora Leather Double Wrap Bracelet: I love the idea of having a charm bracelet and being able to add bits and pieces onto it... but the usual Pandora bracelets don't really appeal to me... they're a little too fancy for little old me lol. I do however love the double wrap leather bracelets - they're much more casual. I can't decide between the black or the white! I would probably just have a one or two charms to keep it really simplistic.
[£45.00]

Essie Van D'Go: This colour is beautiful, I've seen it on Youtube/Blogger for yonks and I've always yearned for it. But now the sun is out I want it even more! It is just the perfect summer colour. I would be interested if someone could tell me how similar Barry M Peach Melba is?
[£8.50]

Dorothy Perkins Cut-Out Pumps: I'm in need of some new, decent flats to take me through the summer. Usually I just buy them from Primark but i must be heavy footed or something because I ruin them in a couple of weeks! I think these ones are so sweet and I love the Apricot and the White and I'm tempted to buy both - either one of them would go with absolutely everything and would look amazing with a tan! plus I could show off my pretty Essie Van D'GO on my toesies ;)
[£20.00 each]

So that's my Month's Most Wanted for June! Have you got any of these items - would you recommend them? What have you been lusting after?

Month's Most Wanted

Hello cuppycakes,
May's edition is upon us! I've been lusting over a whole bunch of things recently, but I've picked the main ones for this post :) Times like this when I wish Next would get back to me about the job interview. I need employment! Haha.

H&M Patterned Playsuit: I think this is either love or hate really... I love the powdery, pastel colours and the aztec style print. Definitely into the aztec vibe at the moment. Playsuits are one of my favourite clothing items... they're so easy to throw on and accessorize! This one from H&M is really affordable too.
[£12.99]

MAC Studio Finish Concealer: This is my favourite concealer and mine has actually run out now and I'm  struggling without it! It has amazing coverage and it did last me a really long time so I can justify the price. Which actually... for MAC is pretty reasonable. I was wondering though, whether the Studio Sculpt Concealer is better... thoughts?
[£13.50]

Tigi S Factor Smoothing Lusterizer: I've heard Gemma from Gemsmaquillage raving about this recently and she mentioned that Jessie J actually uses it... and she literally has the shiniest hair on the planet! It is pricey, and the price I've given below is from feelunique. Although, that being said you do get 200ml and you'd only need a very small amount so it probably works out quite well.
[£13.50]

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Lqiuid Make-up: I have £26 worth of points on my Boots card, woop! And I've been wanting to try out a 'high end' foundation for a while. If I'm going to splash out on one make up item, I think I'd want it to be a foundation. I've researched and researched and Clinique's foundations seem to have good reviews all round. I had previously decided on the 'Superfit' make up, but the lady at the counter told me it has been discontinued! Anti-Blemish Solutions is now the one I want to give a go.
[£21.00]

MAC Teddy Eye Khol: I saw this in the MAC store and decided not to pick it up, but now I want to go back and get it. It's a really beautiful deep bronze colour. I think this would be more subtle than a black eyeliner which can be quite harsh
[£13.00]

So there my lusts of May! I wonder which of these I will actually end up caving in and buying in the month of June? What have you been wanting?

My perfume wishlist

Hello lovelies,
Sorry I'm lacking on the blog front recently. I'm sure you're all aware that it's exam season *sad face*. Plus the whole meltdown that Blogger had recently... in which most of my comments from my last post were deleted! :( Anyways, I love perfume... I don't feel 'ready' without sprizting a bit of smelly stuff. A while ago I decided that I wanted to use up the perfumes I owned and only have one 'signature' scent. I just can't choose though and now I'm lusting over a range of perfumes! Here are my most wanted at the moment...

Any reccomendations ladies? What is you signature scent?

Month's Most Wanted

Hello beautifuls,
April edition, already! This year seems to be going so fast... my exams start next month Which is another worrying thought that I shall put to the back of my mind for the moment, lol. Good luck to anyone taking exams this Spring/Summer whether it be GCSE's, A-Levels or epic Uni stuff ;) Anyway, I've been spying a lot of products or items this month, and I could always write a list as long as my arm. However, these are the select few that I've been wanting the most.

Collection 2000 Big Fake Mascara: I'm sure you've all seen/heard about this mascara and I do know it's been quite controversial. Many say that it's a great product that really volumises but others say that the formulation is so dry it just doesn't do anything. I'm luckily bless with naturally good lashes, so hopefully this will work for me. Even if it does dry up super quick, it's so cheap I wouldn't mind repurchasing regularly (unlike the Max Factor False Lash Effect).
[£4.99]

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer: Again, another product that has been doing the rounds - this time I've only heard great rave reviews. Even Tanya from Pixi2woo has been impressed with it, which must be saying something right? Looks like I've craving a bit of collection 2000! Haha, I wouldn't mind their 'Perfect Finish' foundation either.
[£4.19]

Barry M Nail Paint 'Peach Melba': I'm sorry that this wish list is entirely predictable, but I've seen so many blog posts featuring this nail polish and it's just the epitome of Summer, the name is pretty sweet as well. I love the Nail Paints, they are such amazing quality for the price. I've not been disappointed by one yet.
[£2.99]

The Body Shop Coconut Oil Hair Shine: I remember Gemma from Gemsmaquillage talk about this ages ago and I also think Laura from Lollipop26 and they seemed to really like it. I don't usually use a lot of hair products... I normally just can't be bothered. But I love the smell of Coconut, I love The Body Shop and I think this would be great to just pop in the ends and kind of  'seal' the monstrosity of my damage ;)
[£4.85]

Converse All Star Ox Low White Canvas: I am desperate to get a pair of Converse. I've always been meaning to, but something else has always caught my eye and I've never got round to it. They're an essential really aren't they? I love the way they look with pretty summer dresses, shorts and even plain leggings/jeans. Need these in my life!
[£36.99]

What have you been lusting over in the month of April?

Sigma Wishlist

Hiya cupcakes,
With the release of Sigma's new brush kits 'Make me...' I've been lusting over some new make up brushes. I would love to get one of the Make Me kits just for one of the beautiful colours; I would probably go for Purple or Turquoise. However, I actually already have most of those brushes in Sigma/MAC versions. So I made a list of all the brushes I want to order...

For these brushes it would cost me a grand total of $75 which converts to about £47, which is actually really reasonable. I have a few Sigma brushes and I would say they are on par, if not better, than MAC brushes - and they're so much cheaper. I found the MAC versions of these brushes... and how much would it cost me? £164!!!!! So you can see that Sigma is much more affordable. *MAC don't have a flat top/round top kabuki so I used the prices of their duo fibre brushes*

Are you a Sigma fan?

Month's Most Wanted

Hello beauties,
The end of March is upon us, wow this year is going so fast! Spring is officially here :) and we've had weather to match, at last! I mentioned not long ago that I'm really trying not to impulse buy, and really put thought into what I'm purchasing, asking myself how will it fit in with my existing wardrobe? I've been avoiding browsing online shops (and real life shops) in an attempt to save some money and not waste it all away! It's pretty impossible not to frequent the likes of asos.com, topshop.com etc. so I apologise that this Month's Wants are so boring!

H&M Basic T-Shirts: I've been talking about how I really want to focus on buying basics that I can dress up and down. T-shirts are perfect, and every girl should have a couple in a variation of colours. I have my eye on this navy/white striped number and just a classic white v-neck. I'd really love a navy blazer to pair with these, anyone have any recommendations?
[£4.99 each]

Topshop Scallop Edge Vest: I love these vests, they're really versatile and I love the scalloping. They make me instantly think 'Summer'. They have a massive range of colours but this 'Dark Blush' was probably my favourite. It goes beautifully with all the nude/camel colours that are big at the moment - think it would look gorgeous with some camel coloured shorts.
[£15.00]

Trevor Sorbie Self-Grip Rollers: I'm a girl, who is addicted to her GHD's. Every time I wash my hair I blow dry and then style it; whether it be straightened or curled. That's a heck of a lot of heat. I really want to get some rollers so I can use just a hairdryer and cut down on heat damage. These ones look great... you get 30 rollers in a wide range of sizes.
[£15.32]

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick 'Vintage Pink': I swatched this lipstick the other day whilst in Boots and I love it! It's quite an unusual colour and I've heard someone say it's a more pink-toned version of MAC's Up The Amp. I love the Rimmel Moisture Renew lipsticks and I want to add a few more to my collection.
[£6.29]

They're my wants of the month! What are yours? Oh and if you have any recommendations of a good round brush let me know, I need to perfect my blow dry!

Months Most Wanted

Hey ladies,
I haven't actually been lusting over much this month... which is a bit odd. But these five things I've been wanting a lot.

Faux Alexander Wang Rocco: I am absolutely in love with these bags, and always have been since I first laid my eyes on one. It's so simple but the studded hardware bottom is sooo gorgeous! Although I would never be able to afford one (and I wouldn't want to spend all that money on one either), I wouldn't mind at all getting a 'fake' or look-a-like. A little while ago Victoria did a post showing one that she got on ebay, I have to have one of those babies!
[£20.00 approx]

D&G 3 L'Imperatrice: I was browsing the perfumes in Boots a few days ago and spritzed this D&G fragrance on one of those little pieces of cards... it was gorgeous! Really fresh and fruity, so of course I sprayed it on my wrists and off I went home. When I got home I could smell something really good and couldn't work out what it was, and it was this! I really like the simple, sleek bottle too.
[100ml, £35.75]

Accessorize Baked Bronzer 'Golden Sand': I really overlooked the Accessorize make up when it first came out, I just wasn't interested. When I was in Superdrug I saw the baked bronzer and they looked so pretty. I swatched this shade and it was stunning, it would made the perfect highlight. I don't own any MAC MSF's but this is what I imagined they'd be like!
[£6.00]

New Look Button Dip Hem shirt 'Sand': I mentioned recently that I'm absolutely loving sheer shirts and shirts in general. New Look are doing some really good affordable alternatives to those that Topshop are offering. I love the collar, I love the colour and I love the gold buttons. Great for layering whilst the weather is still warming up but will look great in the Spring/Summer also.
[£15.99]

New Look Pleated Blouse 'Cedar': Again, loving shirts and this is another brilliant one from New Look. I'd probably buy this in a size bigger so that it's longer on me and can wear it with leggings, it's such an effortless look but still on trend. I think this would look good paired with a vintage style silk scarf.
[£19.99]

What have you been lusting over in the month of February? It's such a 'blah' month isn't it?!

Month's Most Wanted

Hello everyone,
If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that I love compiling wishlist style posts. At any one time I'll have a long list of items I want to purchase and am lusting over... which normally dwindle away. But I thought I'd start a 'month's most wanted' to show what I've been lusting over throughout the whole month, and where's a more perfect place to start that January 11?!

Ikea Malm 3 Drawer Chest: I'm so sick of my dressing table/make up set up. I don't particularly like the way that office drawers look and it just clogs up my work space. I really want one of these Malm chest of drawers, it would give me so much storage place, and I'd love to just chuck all my make up (in some kind of organised chaos) into the top drawer. [£56.17]

Vera Wang Princess Perfume: This is my absolute favourite perfume, probably ever. It's a really sweet scent and comes in the most gorgeous bottle! Whenever I'm in Boots or Debenhams I always give this a sniff and it's always in the back of my mind to buy it... but it's quite pricey and I struggle to part with the cash! [100ml, £57.00]

River Island Beige Skinny Jeans: I'm loving beige/camel coloured skinny jeans, it's such a change from dark denim but I think transition perfectly from winter into spring, they look gorgeous with floaty blouses or a rock t-shirt and leather jacket. [£39.99]

F&F Brown Batwing Top: Batwing tops are super flattering and I love earthy, neutral tones like this... it would also look great with those beige skinnies! This top is so versatile and really affordable. [£10.00]

Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation: High end foundations are not something I've ever ventured into, but they all get rave reviews and sometimes I feel like I'm missing out on something... I have to try one! I really want to get my hands on this Chanel one! Is it really worth the money? Let me know in the comments :) [£29.00]

It's that time again...

Hiya :)
So yup it's that time again - for a wishlist of course!! A girl can dream...

MAC Face and Body foundation
Everyone's raving about this atm, and now my skin is clearing up nicely I'd really like to give this a whirl! Tinted moisturisers do nowt for me, so I think this would be a good alternative?

MAC Harmony Blush
pixi2woo uses this to contour, and I think she's right... it looks more like a natural shadow. Plus there are 2 spaces in my blush palette that need and want to be filled!

MAC Well Dressed Blush
This blush always looks so pretty to me! And as I said... there's 2 more spaces in my blush palette, and I think I'm reserving one for this beauty.

MAC Patisserie Lipstick
Super cute name and from what I've seen... super pretty colour.

NARS Turkish Delight Lipgloss
I've never really been into lipgloss as I much prefer lipstick, but recently I've been longing for big glossy lips, and so... I need to get my fix. I'd love to get my grubby little mits on Turkish Delight.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Spotlight Beige Lipstick
I saw beautycrush use this recently in a tutorial video and I thought it looked really pretty. I have Nude Delight which I sometimes find a bit orangey, and this looked a bit pinker when I swatched it in Boots a few days ago.

Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara
I've held off from getting this mascara, just because I don't particularly like the look of the brush. But a good friend told me they really like it and I have to admit... it's a pretty little tube to have in your bag!

120 Palette
I've been meaning to get one of these for ages, and never really got round to it. However mine and Dean's anniversary is coming up so maybe if I hint enough... ;)

Money's tight at the moment, so this list is unrealistic big time. I've been searching for jobs 24/7 but there are none :( My theory is coming up soon, so hopefully I'm nearing to pass and getting a car. But cars are expensive to run... and although I've got money saved (enough for a car) insurance and petrol, will run me dry!

Wishlist

Hey beautifuls,
I was thinking the other day, about how I haven't been wanting much recently... and how long ago it was I compiled a 'wishlist'. Which then, of course, resulted in me writing up a whole list of things I wanted (and clearly wasn't even aware of wanting) lol! I thought I'd share with you guys incase one of them were rubbish, or really are a necessity to add to my collection!

Body Shop Body Brush
I've always known the 'effects' of body brushing, but I'd never fully believed it. But after reading very glowing reviews about this brush in particular on a number of blogs, including Laura's, I just really want to get into it and see what it can do for that pesky orange peel on the back of my very upper thigh!

Vanilla + Dewberry Perfume Oils
Apparently they last a long time? Somebody let me know :) I'm looking for a new summer fragrance but want to try one of these out.

MAC Blushes in Dollymix and Harmony
I have two spaces to fill in my blush palette, and from looking at swatches I think these two would fit in just perfectly!

MAC Lipsticks in Costa Chic and Creme D'Nude
As the sun becomes a much more frequent thing, the appearance of Costa Chic is making me very jelous! It's the perfect coral. As for Creme D'Nude, the melting tragedies just haven't put me off. Has there ever been a more perfect nude?

Large Vented Rollers
I'm always trying to find ways of getting cute and easy hairstyles without too much heat. I only used rollers once, and they weren't very good... however, I'm willing to give them another try in a bid to get volumous, summer hair minus the heat!

On sale at New Look - £10

New Look - £22

New Look - £18

Motel - £35
