| Dancing With The Stars season 13 Official Cast Photos; Chaz Bono controversy! Posted: 05 Sep 2011 11:16 PM PDT The upcoming 13th season of ABC's hit show Dancing With The Stars is now flaming with controversy after adding Chaz Bono to the cast line up. Different reactions are now being voice out.
Chaz Bono (formerly Chastity Bono) is the daughter-turned-son of Cher and the show's first transgender contestant. Lacey Schwimmer will be his female partner.
Many conservatives are now criticizing DWTS for casting Chaz Bono and Carson Kressley (an openly gay man). They are calling for a public boycott of the series while other groups that support Bono says that it's about time to get the proper representation in the media.
Dancing With the Stars returns Sept. 19 with a two-hour premiere at 8 p.m.
