Actress Natalie Portman gave birth to a baby boy, a source confirms to Us Weekly. It's the first child for the actress, 30, and fiance Benjamin Millepied.
Portman and French-born ballet star Millepied, 33, met and fell in love on the set of Black Swan, in which he served as choreographer and co-star.
"It was seductive to watch them," a set source told Us of the stunning pair. "There was no way the attraction could be missed. I don't think he could help himself -- she's dazzling!"
the surprise of fans everywhere, Portman announced her pregnancy and engagement in late December of last year -- and showed off her engagement ring and growing baby bump throughout the 2011 awards show season.
And, as Oscar buzz heated up over her intense performance as tormented, obsessed ballerina Nina in Black Swan, the often-private star (whose ex beaus include folk singer Devendra Banhart, SNL's Andy Samberg and Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal) opened up about her impending motherhood -- and her hubby-to-be.
Best Actress in a Drama award at the Jan. 16 Golden Globes, she joked that Millepied played a dancer who "wouldn't sleep" with her Black Swan character. "It's not true!" she said, laughing. "He totally wants to sleep with me!"
Accepting her Best Actress trophy at the Academy Awards February 27, Portman wept tears of joy as she thanked "my beautiful love." who helped escort her to the podium. "[He] has now given me my most important role of my life," she said.
After the April premiere of Portman's smash Thor (she also scored a hit with January's comedy No Strings Attached) the Harvard grad and Millepied laid low -- with her faithful pooch, Whiz! -- in NYC as she waited out her third trimester.
"One of the most exciting things about being pregnant is that I'm accepting the complete unknown. It's a complete mystery and miracle," Portman (who made her film debut at age 11 in The Professional) told reporters in February. "It's really just accepting that I have no idea, which is what all of us live every day."

Natalie Portman :: Dad's Bizarre Novel
As Natalie Portman enters the final trimester of her pregnancy, her father, a reproductive specialist, is shopping his debut novel. From micropenises to incestuous in vitro, Marlow Stern unearths the most ridiculous parts of the self-described “fertility-thriller.”
While tearfully accepting her Best Actress Oscar for Black Swan, a pregnant Natalie Portman thanked “my beautiful love Benjamin Millepied, who choreographed the film and has now given me my most important role of my life.” But before gushing about her fiancé, Portman thanked her parents “for giving [her] the opportunity to work from such an early age.” Around the same time, Portman’s father, Dr. Avner Hershlag was working too… on his self-published debut novel, Misconception.
One of the country’s most renowned reproductive specialists, the Yale-educated Hershlag is Director of the Donor Egg and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis, Director of Fertility Laboratories, and Medical Director of the In Vitro Fertilization Program at the Center for Human Reproduction in North Shore, Long Island. Clearly, he knows a lot about making babies and hopefully for Portman, her situation is far from the plot of Misconception.
Dr. Hershlag’s debut novel is set in Washington D.C. and centers on Dr. Anya Krim, the fertility specialist for the President and his wife. She delivers a deformed baby with “ambiguous genitalia” who later goes missing and its mother is found dead. Krim then discovers Megan Tanner, a senator’s daughter who has been in a coma for two years, is also pregnant. Senator Tanner is the Majority Whip, and chairman of a senate committee overhearing a controversial Embryonic Stem Cell Bill in Congress. If Dr. Krim—a rape victim herself—didn’t have enough on her petri dish, the First Lady’s last-ditch effort to conceive goes haywire when her embryos are kidnapped from the lab.
And that’s only the beginning.

Natalie Portman ::Quits Veganism
"I actually went back to being vegetarian when I became pregnant, just because I felt like I wanted that stuff," she said during a Monday phone interview with the Q100 Bert Show in Atlanta. "I was listening to my body to have eggs and dairy and that sort of stuff."
"I know there are people who do stay vegan," she added, "but I think you have to just be careful, watch your iron levels and your B12 levels and supplement those if there are things you might be low in in your diet."
\
The Oscar-winning actress, who became a vegan in 2009 after reading Jonathan Safran Foer's Eating Animals, she doesn't regret her decision to become a vegetarian again.
"If you're not eating eggs, then you can't have cookies or cake from regular bakeries, which can become a problem when that's all you want to eat," she laughed. "I actually wanted eggs at the beginning and then they grossed me out after awhile."

Natalie Portman :: no immediate comment on former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee
Huckabee was critical of the Oscar-winner this week in an interview with radio host Michael Medved, implying Portman did not set a good example for the youth of America.
The Wall Street Journal said Saturday Portman's publicist did not immediately respond to a request for a comment.
Huckabee, a former governor of Arkansas turned conservative commentator, said Portman's financial resources glossed over the real burden on single mothers.
He said ::
"Most single moms are very poor, uneducated, can't get a job, and if it weren't for government assistance, their kids would be starving to death and never have health care,"
"That's the story that we're not seeing."

Natalie Portman : Kisses Mila Kunis
Natalie Portman turning the sexy up is not a problem for her or Mila Kunis who star alongside each other in the upcoming film entitled 'Black Swan'. Natalie Portman stars as a determined ballet dancer competing against Mila Kunis' character for the lead role in Swan Lake.
Natalie Portman has said she was scared to death about her first lesbi-kiss, stating:

On the other hand, when it comes to sexy scence, we get a completely different Natalie Portman:
“Nudity is something absolutely natural and I’m not prudish — but in a film it can be distracting,”
she said. “Doing Black Swan I couldn’t say no. The project is a huge opportunity for me to show a new me. I can’t always play the nice mothers. My other problem is that single pictures are being taken out of context and put on the internet."
Natalie Portman, who previously shot a nude scene for short film Hotel Chevalier also admitted she’s worried the lesbian sex sequence is overshadowing the plot of the film. She is also concerned she might not be taken seriously as an actress.
