Rihanna Suing Former Home Owner for Construction Defects

Apparently upset for being lied to,Rihanna is taking matter to the court. On Wednesday, August 31, the "Only Girl (In the World)" hitmaker filed a lawsuit against Prudential California Realty, a property-inspection service and the former owner of her Beverly Hills home for failing to inform her about construction defects of the house.

The 23-year-old singer purchased the mansion in July 2009 for $6.9 million, but wasn't aware of the problems until the two-story house was hit by a "moderate rainstorm" in January 2010. She detailed in the suit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, that rainwater pooled on the second-floor balcony and seeped into numerous rooms, leaving the house "uninhabitable".

It was noted that the Barbadian beauty then hired an engineering firm to assess the damage. During inspection, the company found "a host of defects in the property, including numerous waterproofing defects and evidence of water intrusion and associated damage."

Riri additionally claimed that Landmark Design Group, the company that remodeled the house, did not make necessary repairs. She now seeks unspecified damages because "the actual value of the property at the time of purchase, taking into consideration the extensive construction defects ... was millions of dollars less" than the price she paid for.

The pop star Rihanna added the July 11 Birmingham concert to her "Loud" tour Tuesday, Live Nation said.

Three charities will receive donations from the show -- Project Team Up, Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund and the Mayor's Disaster Relief Fund.

"Hearing about the hundreds of lives that have been lost and the communities that have been so devastated by this disaster ... I wanted to figure out a way to help," Rihanna said in a statement.

"I'm hoping that bringing the 'Loud' tour through Alabama can provide a moment of relief and raise a lot of money for the charities we are working with."

Rihanna Upset That Fake Tweet Was Covered by News Outlets

Rihanna is not pleased about the way a fake Tweet that showed up on her account has been covered by some media outlets. On Wednesday a screen capture of Rihanna's Twitter showed a post reading: "I admit, I provoked Chris to hit me. I't was not entirely his fault. #ImSORRY"

It's still unclear whether the message ever actually appeared or if someone Photoshopped the image to look like it appeared. Either way, Rihanna took it personally when some outlets decided to cover it. On Thursday she directed her ire towards MTV News Canada.

She wrote: "@mtvnewscanada are u f---ing kiddin me?????? You're supposed to be a RELIABLE source for news on music and this is the bull---t u post??"

MTV News Canada wrote a Tweet in its own defense after Rihanna's message showed up. "“We were reporting on a story that was posted on several sites today. We had no intention to be salacious.”

Grand diva Beyonce will be on hand to take the Billboard Millenium Award.

Tonight's presenters span the all music genres, and include Bret Michaels, Taylor Swift, Trey Songs, Kelly Roland, Keri Hilson, Jonas, Randy Jackson, Selena Gomez and Hangover 2 funny guy Ken Jeong.

So, who will be wearing whom?

Rihanna :Want animal paint in dressing area

Umbrella hit-maker,Rihanna is currently touring the world with her Last Girl On Earth shows, and a list of her backstage demands has been obtained by TheSmokingGun.com.
The rider reveals Rihanna asks for animal print cushions and a throw rug to decorate her dressing area, as well as vases of white tulips and lavender roses.

Rihanna demands animal print decorations in her backstage area ahead of every show - and bizarrely bans sequins from her dressing room, according to the singer's tour rider.
 The singer also requests an "ice-blue" colour scheme and "no sequins" on any of the pillows or sofas, and most importantly the bathroom must be "spotless" and the toilet given a "deep clean".

Rihanna : Rock in concert

Rihanna unveiled a new look at the Rock in Rio Madrid festival over the weekend, sporting fire engine red hair and a barely-there outfit while performing "Rude Boy," "Disturbia" and more hits for a reported 87,000 fans.
She was wearing a cone bra that would make Madonna proud, the leggy pop star headlined the annual Rock in Rio fest along with Shakira , Miley Cyrus and David Guetta
