She likes that he calls her "Penny Lane" and remembers things they wrote each other "months ago." She thinks he's "worth the wait" and quotes song lyrics to express her feelings for him.

And their relationship may be in jeopardy.

So who is this person Amanda Bynes can't stop Tweeting – and fretting – about?

The Hairspray star hasn't said and her reps aren't talking. Speculation has focused on Canadian rapper Drake after he called her "Penny Lane" in one Tweet, and she noted in a message they have something in common: "Drake is half Jewish like me ... word!"

But back in February she Tweeted, "FYI I've never met Drake! We have a mutual friend but we haven't met yet! So for some reason people think we're dating but we're not!"

Whomever it is, she appears smitten. "You're the best, which is why I'm saving you for last," she wrote before quoting love lyrics from Rihanna and Jay-Z and raiding iheartquotes.com for further inspiration.

The new flame may actually be an old one. On Valentine's Day, Bynes announced she was newly single and said she was glad she never revealed his identity. Then this week she wrote, "Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect," she hinted, quoting from Harry Potter scribe J.K. Rowling.

Whomever the man is, he was rocking Bynes's world for weeks. She writes: "It's amazing when someone knows how to love you with out being told."

Then, this Wednesday, things took a turn."I have a friend that I thought was like a sister to me," she wrote. "She's been lying to me and she has been up to no good with the man I like."

Amanda Bynes :: Death of her Pet

Former teen  Actress Amanda Bynes's dog Little Angel has died.

Just four months old, the caramel-colored pomeranian went missing on Tuesday.
"[She] got out of my house somehow and is LOST," the Easy A actress, 25, tweeted to her 53,000 followers. "If anyone finds her I BEG you to please contact me thru Twitter."


Then, later that day, Amanda shared sad news
: "Little Angel is in heaven now," she wrote. "RIP. I love you."

Amanda Bynes: retiring from act ing

Amanda Bynes, 24, says she's had it with show biz and it's time to say goodbye.

Via Twitter with the handle @Chicky, she shared: "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem. If I don't love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it. I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first."

To be perfectly honest, it's been a few years since we carved out any screen time with Amanda. She started at age 10 on the Nickelodeon show, All That, before launching The Amanda Show. She exited in 2001, and so went the attention of the only kid in the house.

The winner of multiple Kids Choice Awards and a Critics Choice Award for 2007's Hairspray, Bynes is hopefully on the road to her "encore career." Like millions of other Americans (most in their 40s to 60s, some by choice, many not), she has discarded her old career and is ready to follow her dreams. Maybe start a nonprofit? Open a cafe? Go back to school? Here, a little "retirement" advice:

Be ready to start at the bottom. This might be tough for someone who has had her own show, but the fact is you're not always going to be in charge. 
Then again, perhaps you already know that (via Twitter): "I've never written the movies &tv shows I've been a part of. I've only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play.
