'I feel like a muppet': Lucien admits defeat as his crush on Amy comes to nothing after Kerry accuses her of leading him on

By GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN

Feeling foolish: Lucien talks to Big Brother about his disappointment that nothing will happen between him and Amy

Yesterday he was warned against falling for the redheaded Essex girl by a couple of his fellow housemates.

And tonight, Lucien Laviscount laid his cards on the table and admitted he felt like a 'muppet' after Amy Childs revealed that she doesn't fancy him.

The young actor headed to the Diary Room and poured out his disappointment to Big Brother and said it had been confirmed what everyone had told him about her.

Looking forlorn and wrapped in a blanket, he said: 'It’s like your parents tell you you're going to Disneyland Florida and then you find out you’re going to Disneyland Paris…. it's not the same.

Heart-to-heart: Lucien tells Amy he is happy for them to just be friends

'I feel like a muppet… I got shot down.'

Earlier, he had been out in the garden with Amy and Kerry Katona but when he left to use the bathroom, he overheard Kerry tell Amy not to lead him on, to which Amy responded that she wasn't attracted to him.

As Big Brother throws the housemates a cocktail party, Kerry decides to try and encourage the romance but Lucien gets fed up of chasing Amy around and shuns her.

She runs over to him and playfully punches him and then rolls on top of him before he tells her to stop teasing him.

Give us a cuddle: Amy goes to give Lucien a hug...

... and ends up jumping on him and rolling off the sofa

The pair later have a heart to heart in the garden and Lucien admits that he got the wrong impression because he was 'under a spell' which he couldn't shake off.

He then tells the beauty therapist that he is more than happy to be just friends with her.

Meanwhile, the housemates woke up this morning divided after yesterday's pose off saw Take This win the battle of the bands.

To the victors the spoils: Take This are treated to a full English breakfast for winning the bands task

Take This - consisting of Paddy, John, Bobby and Darryn, were treated to a full English breakfast while the other band Kela - Edward, Kerry, Lucien and Amy - woke up having spent the night camping outside.

Darryn declares that the fry-up is 'gold dust' and tells Big Brother that the 'room service has been brilliant' as he and the other three tuck into their feast.

Are you hungry? John kindly offers his leftover breakfast to Kerry

John feels sorry for his twin and the others so takes leftovers out to the groupies in a plastic bag but is told off by Big Brother for spending time with them.

As his punishment, he must got to the Diary Room and sign hundreds of Take This posters, to which he shrugs and says: 'In one night I signed 2,000 autographs in Germany.'

Let the RSI begin: As punishment for mixing with the 'groupies', John is made to sign hundreds of Take This autographs

Strictly Come Dancing 2011: Holly Valance, Nancy Dell'Olio and Lulu bring the glamour as full dancing lineup is revealed

By SARAH FITZMAURICE and GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN

Glamour girls: Holly Valance is set to strut her stuff on this year's Strictly Come Dancing show

There isn’t a shortage of glamour in this year’s show with Australian actress Holly Valance, sexy Italian Nancy Dell’Olio and Sixties pop star Lulu showing off their twinkle toes.

Other lovely ladies lined up for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing include One Show host Alex Jones and Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healy, who will be donning sequins and feathers aplenty for the competition.

Former Neighbours star Jason Donovan and McFly drummer Harry Judd will be strutting their stuff and hoping to impress on the dance floor.

Sizzling salsa: Nancy Dell'Ollio and singing superstar Lulu have also accepted the challenge to show off their shapes

And there are plenty of former sports stars taking part, with former boxer Audley Harrison and tennis star turned TV presenter Dan Lobb putting on the tap shoes for size.

Robbie Savage, who has denied he is taking part to his fans on Twitter, is also joining the lineup, which may leave some fans bemused by his recent posts.

His move from the football pitch to the ballroom will raise a few eyebrows among football fans who knew him as one of the most aggressive figures in the game.

He was once dubbed the dirtiest player in the Premiership, on account of the mass of yellow cards he picked up during his career.

Music to your ears? Former Neighbours actor Jason Donovan and McFly drummer Harry Judd will also be showing off their moves

Sports stars: Former tennis player Dan Lobb, former boxer Audley Harrison and football bad boy Robbie Savage will be shaking their things on the show this year

Savage has since carved out a career as a Radio 5 Live broadcaster, picking up a Rising Star prize at the Sony Radio Academy Awards earlier this year.

Finishing off the lineup are actress Anita Dobson, impressionist Rory Bremner, astrologer Russell Grant and former MP Edwina Currie.

The show will once again be hosted by Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly and the judging panel will also remain unchanged with Len Goodman joined by Alesha Dixon, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli to critique the hopefuls.

Strictly Come Sparkling: Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey, actress Anita Dobson and One Show host Alex Jones will be donning the glitter and sequins

Salsa shakers: Stargazer Russell Grant, former MP Edwina Currie and impressionist Rory Bremner

Claudia Winkleman will also be supporting Tess on the nail-biting Sunday night results show.

The stars will be seen joining their new dance partners this weekend, but the pairings are being kept under wraps until then.

This year's series will feature the biggest scale live programme so far, with a broadcast from Wembley Arena in front around 6,500 fans for Children In Need.

Strictly starts at 6.10pm on BBC One, Saturday 10th September.

'You're too good for her, she's playing games': Paddy warns Lucien off Amy while Kerry tells him to be careful

By GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN

Just be careful: Kerry Katona snuggles up to Lucien Laviscourt as they discuss Amy Childs in the garden

Yesterday he was slammed for his serial flirting even though he clearly only had eyes for Amy Childs.

But Lucien Laviscount has been warned off the Essex redhead after Paddy Doherty told him that she was playing games with him.

And Kerry Katona, who is friends with Childs, also warned the young actor to be careful and said he should wait until he leaves the house before making a decision about her.

What does she do? Paddy Doherty moans about Amy avoiding cleaning the house because she's too busy in front of the mirror

She also told him that she would be looking out for him as they started they day lying on the sofa talking about the vajazzle queen.

Lucien admitted that he thinks she is playing up to the cameras and that he doesn't believe a word she says even though Kerry, careful not to slag off her friend, said she disagreed.

But she told him: 'If she messes my lad around, she's got me to deal with. Just be careful.'

Cleaning? What cleaning? Amy is too busy with her rollers to grab a duster and help her housemates

Paddy, on the other hand, was more forthcoming in his opinion of her, having bemoaned her beauty regime to Big Brother and then telling Lucien she was no good for him.

As the other housemates spent the morning cleaning and tidying the house, Paddy went to the Diary Room to moan about Amy.

He said that she takes three hours to get ready and added: 'She does nothing. The only thing that girl does is her hair, the girl does nothing. She takes her beauty regime very seriously.'

Cosy: But moments later, Amy upped and left Lucien's side, prompting Paddy to call her a player

Steady as they go: The boy band must try and hold their pose for as long as possible....

.. as they went head-to-head with Kela in a pose-off competition

Paddy told him: 'You’re too good for her, she’s playing games. She's playing with you.'

Kerry, who was pacing the room after jumping on Lucien on the bed and cuddling him, added: 'I agree 110 percent.

'This house does crazy to people. She's a sweet girl but wait til you get out as this is not the right environment.'

Meanwhile, attentions were soon drawn to the Battle of the Bands task where Paddy, Darryn, Bobby and John formed a boy band, Take This, Kerry, Amy, Lucien and Edward made up a girl band and rehearse and perform for a music video.

Who can last the longest? John and Lucien were the last ones standing at the end of the pose-off

The next task was a 'pose-off' where each band would have to pose for as long as they possibly could without moving.

It came down to John and Lucien with John being declared the winner meaning Take This won and were given a champagne party with the house being transformed into the Brotherly Hills Hotel.

KELA also had to adopt the role of devoted fans and have to sleep in the garden and perform duties for the band including carrying out specific rider requests.

Wrap up warm: John and Bobby bid goodnight to the losing 'band' who now have to sleep outside for the night as their groupies

These included 'the groupies' being given a large bucket filled with different coloured sweets and each each band member asking their groupie to separate their favourite coloured sweet from the rest.

Once finished, all sorted sweets were taken to the Diary Room for Big Brother to check before Kerry, Amy, Lucien and Edward could become normal housemates again.

Blame Van Halen: Kerry and Amy go through buckets of sweets separating the colours just like the urban rock 'n' roll myth about the rock band and their infamous M&Ms rider request

'You've crawled into bed with THREE women!' Lucien infuriates CBB housemates with his continuous flirting as Amy keeps him guessing..

By SARAH BULL

Infuriating: Lucien Laviscount's serial flirting in the Celebrity Big Brother house, most recently with Amy Childs, has started to annoy his fellow housemates

Darryn Lyons hit out at Lucien Laviscount on Celebrity Big Brother last night, telling him he should stop his serial flirting.

After Lucien and Amy spent the night in bed together, the Waterloo Road actor was discussing things with housemate Darryn in the garden.

But paparazzo Darryn told the 19-year-old he thinks Lucien is getting something of a name for himself through his flirting in the house.

Cheeky: The pair took part in some dirty dancing in the garden as Amy continued to keep Lucien guessing about their relationship

He told Lucien: 'You have tried to get into everyone's bed. you have crawled into bed with three birds - Pamela on the first night, Kerry on the third night, in the middle between that you tried Tara and then Amy!

The only one you didn't try to get into bed with was Sally, and that was because she was married. You have been very tactical with the way you have maneuvered between the sheets - that's what the girls will think. You do put it about!'

But Lucien looked thoroughly unhappy with Darryn's comments, asking: 'Seriously? Do you think Amy thinks that?'

What's going on? Amy can't seem to make up her mind about whether or not she likes Lucien

Lucien and Darryn's discussion came just hours after Lucien kissed Kerry before getting into bed with Amy.

However, in a conversation with Big Brother in the Diary Room, Amy insisted she doesn't even find Lucien attractive.

She said: 'I don't fancy Lu. I really get on well with him and we have a little flirt but that's all it is. It's just fun, banter, and a bit of flirting.

'I thought something was going on between Kerry and Lucien! You've got more chance of Kerry and Lucien than me and Lucien because I don't think i could be with Lucien.'

But it seemed to be a different story later in the evening as housemates enjoyed a 90s themed party, with Lucien and Amy pretending to dirty dance in the garden.

You've got into bed with three women! Darryn Lyons pointed out Lucien's serial flirting, but the Waterloo Road actor denied doing anything wrong

Later, sitting on the sofas with their fellow housemates, the pair discussed their relationship, with Amy keeping her cards close to her chest.

She told Lucien: 'What I'm looking out for is my ex-boyfriend. I have only just come out of a relationship. I'll talk to you properly when we get out. When I get out of here, I'm going to show you Essex.'

Amy then told the rest of her housemates: 'With me and Lu it's nothing serious, we're having a laugh!'

However, Lucien seemed to think of their relationship in higher regard, telling Amy: 'I think you're a wicked girl, I'd like to spend more time with you.'

The show began with Kerry teasing Amy and Lucien about their love-in in the bedroom, giggling: 'Morning my little lovebirds!'

Nothing happened! While Lucien said the pair kissed, Amy denied doing anything with him under the covers

But when Amy discussed what had happened with Lucien as she sat in the garden with her fellow housemates, she insisted: 'When we were in bed together he told me to face him and I said no. Nothing happened, it was just a cuddle. I don't snog my mates, put it that way!'

In a separate discussion later on, Lucien told Darryn: 'Nothing happened, we were tops and tailed. we fell straight to sleep. i woke up this morning and thought, "what are these orange-tastic feet doing in my bed?" '

However, in the Diary Room, Lucien admitted he was starting to have feelings for Amy.

He said: 'You know what, Amy is a solid girl and as time has gone on, I've seen more and more of her and she's cool.

Girl power! Amy, Kerry, Edward and Lucien made up girlband Kela in the Battle of the Bands task

Boys are best: Darryn, Bobby, Paddy and John formed Take This for the task

'Sorry if i made a right plonker of myself. I was just having a laugh but there was something behind it as well. Last night, and a couple of nights before that, I've thought, "hmmm".'

Kerry, who joked that her heart had been broken by Lucien and Amy's blossoming romance, also went to the Diary Room to talk about the night before.

She said: 'I don't think anything went on but there's definitely something blossoming between them. the kids are getting together. they are both loving it, it's wicked.'

Belting it out: The 'girls' wore matching combat trousers as they performed All Saints' Never Ever

Reach for the stars: Take This performed Take That's Relight My Fire wearing bizarre leather outfits

For the day's task, the housemates were divided into two groups for a mammoth Battle of the Bands task.

While Paddy, Darryn, Bobby and John formed a boyband, Take This, Kerry, Amy, Lucien and Edward made up a girlband.

Each band were told they must rehearse and perform a classic 90s pop song, which will be recorded and posted on the Celebrity Big Brother website. And the video that gets the most hits will win the band a superstar experience.

Enjoying yourself? Darryn appeared to be enjoying the task a little too much

But as Darryn started talking about the choreography, John disagreed with some of the moves the group should do.

And Darryn was also struggling with learning the lyrics, asking John for advice on how to pick up the words before having a de-stressing cigarette.

After recording the track, the guys took turns in the Diary Room telling Big Brother about their experience.

Darryn said: 'My lead vocal isn't as good as Gary Barlow's, but I gave it my best.

John is a very talented kid and I'm sure his moves are going to put me, Paddy and Bobby to shame. What we lacked in professionalism, we made up in enthusiasm.'

Wet and wild: Amy stood under a watering can to film some extra shots for the girls' video

And Paddy added: 'Couldn't sing to save my life or to save my children. Darryn was just the best laugh in the world, especially that leather thing he was wearing.'

John concluded: 'I think I'm going to do what Robbie Williams did and go solo and take over the world. But don't tell the other members of Take This.'

Over in the girl group, Kela, the group were learning the lyrics to All Saints' Never Ever.

Talking about working with former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry, Amy said: 'Kerry Katona took control of the band and I think she was good at putting us all together.

Out and about: Newly-evicted housemate Tara Reid pretended to kick photographers as she messed around outside London's May Fair Hotel last night

'But oh my God, could you imagine me being a popstar? i can't sing to save my life! It was brilliant though. I think Kela has got a chance of hitting the top spot, I reckon we could be number one!'

And Kerry admitted she had enjoyed the task a lot more than she thought she would.

She said: 'I got so lost in the moment, I think I took it a little bit too seriously but I loved it, it was great being back in a girlband. All Saints would be put to shame! I thought we were brilliant, and Amy had the best vocals ever.'

Edward, who took on the alter ego of Britney for the task, added: 'My inner Britney and Shakira came out of me. I was shaking my hips and it was brilliant!'

And Lucien concluded: 'I felt very elegant and ladylike. I felt like i was trying to be a woman.'

After the recording, the groups were given props to use for additional shots for their video. The groups will now have to wait and see which of their videos gets the most hits on the Big Brother website.

Different channel, same old show! Jonathan Ross gets mixed reviews as he sticks to the same formula for new ITV series

By SARAH BULL

Different channel, same old show! Jonathan Ross stuck to the same formula with his new Friday night show in ITV1 last night

He stunned fans earlier this year when he announced he would be moving from BBC to ITV for the new series of his chat show.

But it seems that while the set is new, Ross has stuck to the same formula for the new programme.

Last night's debut episode was met with mixed responses from fans, some of whom criticised him for not changing things more, and some praising him for sticking to what he does best.

Muted: Ross wore a navy blue suit, white shirt and black tie for his inaugural ITV outing

One fan joked on Twitter: 'Glad to see jonathan ross is back, there's something very unsatisfying about tv hosts who can pronounce their R's.'

And another added: 'The Jonathan Ross Show was as hilarious as always, had a fabulous guests and it was a great piece of telly! Totally loved it!'

But others commented they were finding the advert breaks during the programme hard to accept after Ross' previous show on the BBC.

One tweeted: 'Jonathan Ross with advert breaks. Who'd have thought it eh?'

And another added: 'Was so shocked when the Jonathan Ross show went to an ad break.

'It's not the same on itv.'

As it was: The new set is in sharp contrast to the colourful, psychedelic set on Ross' previous BBC show

One fan wrote that they were unimpressed with Ross' interviewing skills, explaining: '#LOVE Adele - but detest Jonathan Ross - not done a decent interview in donkeys years - new talent needed seriously me thinks!'

Many fans also took to Twitter to complain that Ross' house band, Four Poofs And A Piano, had not been invited to joint he show on ITV.

One wrote: 'The new Jonathan Ross Show has a great big set but I miss '4 poofs and a piano'.'

Celebrity guests: Ross was joined by Adele, Lewis Hamilton and Sarah Jessica Parker on his first show

And another added: 'Jonathan Ross is not as good on ITV. Where are the Four Poofs.'

Ross appeared relatively calm and relaxed as he presented his first show, interviewing guests Sarah Jessica Parker, Adele and Lewis Hamilton.

However, in an interview on Daybreak earlier this week, Ross admitted he was feeling nervous about the reaction to the show before they filmed it.

Where did they go? Many fans took to Twitter to complain that Ross' previous house band, Four Poofs And A Piano (seen here with Matt Lucas and David Walliams, were not on the new show

He said: 'I was nervous, I’ll be honest with you, I was kind of more nervous than I’ve been for years about something.

'I don’t know why I was so nervous, maybe it’s because I wanted to work for the guys here and I want it to be good for me and for the audience, obviously.

'But once we went out there and started doing it - and the audience were so lovely and so supportive - it just felt great.'

Next week's Jonathan Ross show will see interviews with Benedict Cumberbatch, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Alan Carr.

Make your mind up, Lucien! Laviscount kisses Kerry Katona and then gets into bed with Amy Childs as he continues his CBB flirting marathon

By SARAH BULL

Cuddling up: Lucien Laviscount continued his flirting marathon in the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight with Amy Childs

He has said in the past that he finds Tara Reid, Amy Childs and Kerry Katona attractive.

But on Celebrity Big Brother last night, Lucien Laviscount took his flirting in the house to the next level as he kissed Kerry and got into bed with Amy - all within the space of a few hours.

Earlier in the evening, Waterloo Road Lucien had been cuddling up to Kerry on the sofa outside, causing Amy to comment: 'Why don't you just get with each other?

You lift me up: The pair attempted to copy the famous Dirty Dancing lift in the garden

But Kerry replied: 'Because he's only 19! I could get locked up!'

And when Kerry admitted she fancied Lucien, she told him: 'Once you go with a woman as experienced as me, you will just fall head over heels.'

When Amy asked Lucien if he liked Kerry, he replied: 'I don't fancy this woman, I'm head over heels with this woman.'

When Kerry went to the toilet, Lucien was quick to follow her in, closing the door behind him.

Who do you choose? Lucien had earlier cuddled up to Kerry on the sofas outside

Give us a kiss! A clearly intoxicated Kerry admitted she fancied Lucien and the pair shared a kiss in the toilet

And when the door was closed, the pair could be heard kissing inside, with Lucien telling Kerry: 'I'm not arsed about Amy, I don't find her attractive!'

However, as Kerry went to bed, Lucien told Amy that he didn't foresee anything happening with Kerry.

He said: 'I've got a soft spot for Kerry because we get on like a house on fire. We're worlds apart but I get her. The girl's 30 going on 31 and she's got kids and stuff, and I'd rather be friends with her than anything else.'

Looking smug: Later on, when Kerry had gone to bed, Amy lay down on Lucien's lap in the garden

Amy then asked Lucien if he found her attractive, to which Lucien replied: 'I'm starting to, I'm starting to appreciate you a bit more as a person. I think you're an amazing girl and I would love to go out with you outside of this house. But I'm sick with coming out with stuff and not getting anything back.

'I think you're a wicked girl, every time you come out of the room I think you're stunning.'

Mind if I join you? Lucien then climbed into bed with Amy in the bedroom

However, Amy hit back saying she was fed up with the way Lucien couldn't make his mind up about the women in the house.

She insisted: 'If you're trying to play me and Kerry, it's a bit of a joke. I'm sick to death of you trying to chat up me, Tara, Kerry, Sally, I'm done.'

And then, when Lucien asked Amy if she liked him, she replied: 'I don't know if I fancy you, I'm confused. Yes, big time, I do!'

Amy then cuddled up on Lucien's lap and put the blanket over herself, while Darryn headed to bed, leaving Lucien unable to move.

Romantic: It could not be seen if the pair shared a kiss, but they were certainly cuddling up

After messing around pushing each other on the way into the bedroom, the pair then got into bed together, with Kerry oblivious to the fact they were sharing the bed right next to her.

The evening's show began with the housemates woken up to the remnants of Jedward's two-and-a-half minute shopping spree, with Darryn complaining that the twins hadn't picked up any of the essentials - instead concentrating on sweets and cakes.

Lucien, Bobby and Tara were all shown getting ready for the prospect of being evicted, with Lucien saying in the Diary Room: 'As long as I've not made a plonker of myself and my mum and dad are proud, then I'm happy.'

Bobby said: 'I've learned what I needed to learn. so I will take that away with me. But right now, living with so many people, I don't want to do it any more. I'm excited about the prospect of leaving, but scared too.'

Oblivious: Kerry was either unaware of the goings on in the bedroom, or chose to ignore them, as she came into the kitchen for a late-night snack

When Darryn questioned Jedward about what they picked up int he supermarket, one of the twins replied: 'I looked for bread but I couldn't find it.'

But Kerry came forward to say: 'Boys, I think you did really well considering you didn't know where anything was and you only had two minutes.'

And Jedward defended themselves, saying: 'There was some foods that were in your face and we had them in our face.'

The Only Way Is Essex star Amy was set a task of vajazzling or pejazzle all of her fellow housemates, choosing a design which reflects their personality, within the next 90 minutes to win a secret prize.

What's this? Darryn Lyons was unimpressed with Jedward's purchases during their two-minute shopping spree

The haul: The twins were more concerned about loading up their trollies with sweets than essentials like toilet paper

Before taking on the task, Amy said: 'Essex is all about diamonds, it's all about being glitzy. The philospophy about being the best vajazzler is to have good diamonds and to have lots of imagination when it comes to the designs.'

And afterwards, Darryn said: 'I think everyone is really happy with Amy's vajazzling technique, they all got into it and had fun.'

As a reward for passing the task, Big Brother invited her dog Prince to join her in the Diary Room, causing the ditzy redhead to burst into tears.

Amy said: 'Oh Big Brother, thank you so much. It reminds me of being at home with Mum and Dad. I'm missing home so much. But seeing Prince today has really helped me because I've not got long left but I love being in the house. I just can't thank you enough Big Brother.'

Time for a vajazzle: After Amy gave her fellow housemates vajazzles, Jedward returned the favour

That looks pretty! Amy sported a long line of pink diamonds on her leg for the rest of the day

Meanwhile, as most of the housemates enjoyed the sunshine in the garden, Jedward dressed up in red sequinned jackets and smiley face ties as they enjoyed the sweets they had picked up in the supermarket sweep.

Talking in the Diary Room about the possibility of leaving, Tara said: 'I've had a really good time and I hopd I can continue this journey. If I could finish this all the way through it's almost like getting an Academy Award - it's the hardest work you have to put in.'

Darryn added: 'Whatever happens, happens. It's down to the people and who they want to keep in - who they like and who they feel is entertainment and who is going to give them a laugh at the end of the day.

Your turn! Amy had to choose a specific design for all of her different housemates

'I'm feeling really relaxed about the situation, yeah, I'm feeling good.'

And while Amy had given all her housemates vajazzles, it was then the turn of Jedward to give Amy a vajazzle.

As the boys placed diamonds on Amy's body, Amy laughed: 'Who would have thought it would be Jedward vajazzling me? I actually find it quite relaxing having it done.'

Tonight's show also saw the aftermath after Tara left the Big Brother house.

After Tara was evicted, Amy said: 'I'll tell you the honest truth, I thought it was going to be Bobby!'

Emotional: Amy was treated to a visit from her dog Prince after passing her vajazzle task

And Lucien added: 'I was devastated because she's been a big influence on me in this house.'

Darryn said: 'I think there will be a big change in the dynamic in the house', and Kerry concluded, 'I did like her, but I think I was just really intimidated by her.'

As a reward for making it to the last week of the reality show, the housemates were treated to alcohol and music, with Paddy getting slightly too enthusiastic with the champagne and spraying it at his fellow housemates.

Talking about being saved from eviction, Bobby said: 'I'm shocked, I'm really shocked. But nothing's going to get me down. I really didn't expect to make it to the last week.'

But outside, the rest of the housemates said they were stunned that Bobby had been saved.
