It seems Santa did get my Christmas wish list after all!!
A whole week of Janathon down and not a run in sight*- oh the irony. Well desperate steps had to be taken and so the Personal Trainer is moving in with me for a month!!
Before anyone gets too excited - I should explain that PT will likely be fought over by myself and my flatmates and there's the small matter of the PT arriving in a box - an XBOX to be exact. (That plus I'm not on speaking terms with any hunky homeless PT's. If only!)
Yup very excitingly, I (plus my flatmates, who I'm sure will also NOT be able to resist the allure of an in-house PT) get to try out the XBOX Kinect for a whole month, courtesy of Ubisoft and SUPERchicks. Woop, woop. So exciting. Plus it's meant to be a wet weekend - oh what a shame to be forced to stay inside and get the PT to put me through my paces in the comfort of the living room!!
The only reason I'm blogging and not XBOXING right now is that I need to figure out what Nigella yumminess to cook up for my dinner guests tomorrow, that and determine if we have enough crockery for the dinner guests to eat off.
Yup I live a rock and roll lifestyle! xx
*I did complete another SUPERchick session this morning so my Janathon pledge to exercise everyday is still intact. Plus there are concrete plans for Lucinda, Kaye (a proper Janathon runner!!) and I to attempt a 5km run on Sunday in Hyde Park (Kaye will actually be doing two laps AND Lucinda too, I'm sure ;-))) - Lucinda's organised a route, running commentary, meeting time and place - basically everything. TRES excited. In preparation for Sunday, I'm going to abandon PT to his own devices for a short while tomorrow and attempt to run to the end of my street and back (1 mile/ 1.6km in total).
