Heart maker/ breaker - Janathon Day 16

As promised - no running today. Today's activity - an Xbox Kinect boxing lesson - 76 kcals burnt.  Surprisingly energetic and got me quite out of puff although the onscreen instructor was really grating. Give me the SUPERtrainers any day.

Today's main activity was making frames for twenty or so loveheart costumes for the Valentine's Race on the 12 February 2011:

Despite appearances - today wasn't a deodorant in hair day.
I just may have forgotten to brush it - oops.

MASSIVE, MASSIVE thanks to my Dad for making me a heart frame and for the multiple trips to Hobbycraft, B&Q, Wickes and Staples to find wire suitable for making frames and a stapler to hold the felt fabric over the frame. Both of these acquisitions sound surprisingly simple but actually involved six trips and my sanity!!

However my favourite activity of the day was admiring the fab cauliflower we had for dinner - clearly any dramatic flair I have for dinner parties comes from my Dad:

One architectural cauliflower and tasty too.

Hope you had a happy and active weekend and your fingers have not been shredded by shaping wire into a slightly asymmetrical heart shapes. xx
