Praying that Crossfit will never involve a flying burpee!
So excited at the prospect of tomorrow's Leanfit workout - it sounds FUN, crucially different and most of all it doesn't involve multiple repetitions of heinous burpees. OR any burpees at all. *Happy, happy dance*
I did 75 burpees today. Seventy Five. That's probably a first. Plus it's a definite improvement from the 8 I managed on Saturday! I have never sweated so much in my life. I know I keep saying this but I'm convinced I reached a squelchier level of sweat today: Sweat was actually running off my face onto the mat creating a pool. That's definitely a first. I am now a yucky sweaty gym bunny but ironically I kinda like it. (I appreciate more fully why people like Bikram Yoga so much). Sweating that much may not win me any friends but I feel like I'm working really hard ;-)) Plus the sweating didn't go unnoticed, it was impossibe not too, I looked a wreck and I departed the gym to cries of 'drink lots of water ALL DAY'.
So rehydrated, it's off to bed I go, UBER eager for tomorrow's sweat session:
Aim: Complete as many rounds of the following in 15 mins:
10 Kettlebell deadlifts
10 Kettlebell swings
10 Box jumps
10 Pull-ups
20 Sit-ups
200m Run
Any bets on what I'll actually manage? xx
