Sunday Brunch Day

 Sunday has become my favorite day of the week. Sleeping in, mimosas and brunch!

Benny's was the place of choice for part 2 but this time our table grew from

two to six. I'm pretty sure this needs to be a weekly ritual, TBD but for now

I will start the count down to Sunday regardless.

Last Sunday

Last Sunday we decided brunch was essential to functioning that day, so we headed to Benny's,

which was in Greenwich, not on Greenwich street. Anyway the slight detour got us a

quick view of the new building which stands in the place of the Twin Towers. (above)

I can't believe it's already been 10 years.

As we made our way to the correct address, it was well worth the journey. I mean who

can complain about Mexican brunch for $10.95 that includes a mimosa or champagne?

Winning. Finally the day ended at Fortune Cookie in the Lower Eastside with Sam and Lina.
