Nicole Kidman :: "Stoker" role

Award winning actress Nicole Kidman has had quite the summer.

In addition to going peroxide blonde for her part in the upcoming thriller Paperboy, the 44-year-old Moulin Rouge star has been cast in the lead role for another spine-chiller – Stoker.

Stoker, a Park Chan-Wook directed film slated for release sometime in 2012, tells the story of an eccentric teen, India, whose enigmatic and estranged uncle returns to the family following the death of the girl’s father.

When people mysteriously start to go missing in her hometown at the same time, India begins to believe that her uncle may be the cause.

According to Indiewire, Kidman is set to play the role of the little girl’s mother and will be joined by a heavy hitting array of talent including Matthew Goode, Jacki Weaver, Lucas Till, and Mia Wasikowska.

While very few details are known about the film, we can expect that Chan-Wook – whose other films such as Oldboy and Thirst are famous for their immaculate framing, brutal subject matter, and epic twists – has more than a few surprises up his sleeve.

Eva Longoria :: Close of her nightclub

Actress Eva Longoria has lost her Las Vegas nightclub Beso to bankruptcy, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned of an unlikely suitor that wants to acquire the financially distraught club.

Ashley Madison, an online dating service that caters mainly to those already in relationships, has reached out to the attorneys handling the Beso account expressing their interest in renaming and rebranding the club “as THE exclusive restaurant and club in Las Vegas for discrete meetings and intimate encounters.”

In the letter sent on July 14, 2011, obtained by RadarOnline.com, Ashley Madison CEO Noel Biderman states that while “there is great potential in the location...a main barrier to Beso’s success was its branding as a singles’ club.”

“We are extremely interested in stepping in to fill this void and with this letter we formally express our interest in exploring a potential acquisition with you that could hopefully take Beso LLC out of Chapter 11 protection,” Biderman writes to Schwartzer & McPherson Law Firm.


“We are saddened to learn of your client Beso LLC and its owner Eva Longoria’s financial difficulties with respect to their hospitality venture and their Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.”

Longoria, along with other various investors, opened the Las Vegas Beso club in 2009 in which time it fell into nearly $5.7 million in debt by 2011.

Britney Spears: Confuesd about sex at teen age

Pop diva Britney Spears says she was “confused” and “disgusted” when she learned about sex at the age of 12.

In a recent magazine interview, the Toxic singer was asked when she first spoke to her parents about the birds and the bees.

“When I was 12 years old. From my mom. I was confused and disgusted,” she told.

Spears also revealed her hidden talents.

“I love to cook,” she said. “I also make a mean Southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me. It’s really good. I make it for my boys all the time.”

Spears recently revealed that she would consider “pull and tuck” surgery.

She said ::

“When it’s time to pull and tuck, I’m sure I will consider it.”

Anne Hathaway : hates being type cast

"Love and Other Drugs" actress Anne Hathaway hates being type cast by her movie roles.
She is still working to over come her break out role in "The Princess Diaries".

Anne Hathaway said::
“The question that I dreaded answering in interviews was ‘Did you always dream of being a princess?’ I felt like saying ‘No, I dreamed of being an actress! That was a role I played!”

“It was frustrating because, like constantly being asked about the nudity in Love and Other Drugs, it kept the conversation at the surface. It was like talking to my grandparents — you know, ‘I’m really not as young as you think but I’m going to be polite’.”

Britney Spears :: New Album Coming soon!!!!!!!

Britney Spears is reportedly set to release the second single from her forthcoming 'Femme Fatale' next week.

American pop singer  Britney Spears whose seventh studio album is set to hit shelves on March 29th 2011, is reportedly releasing the album's second single next week, according to MusicRooms.net.

It has been rumoured that Spears would release a follow-up single to 'Hold It Against Me' before the album hits shelves and the website quote an insider at Jive Recordings who confirm that a new track will be available from next week.

They suggest it could be the Kesha penned song 'Till The World Ends' although they also mention the track 'I Wanna Go', which producer Dr Luke recently posted a clip of on Twitter.

Acording to Entertainment Weekly: Anticipation for 'Femme Fatale' has been building for several months now and Spears recently promised fans "a morning to remember" to mark the release of the new record, announcing plans for a special Good Morning America performance on 29th March 2011,

Britney Spears' most recent single 'Hold It Against Me' became a commercial success, debuting at number one on the Us Billboard Hot 100, as well as in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland and New Zealand.

Nicole Kidman :: Fertility Struggle

The 'Rabbit Hole' star Nicole Kidman went through "pain, loss and disappointment" during her fertility struggle.

Kidman , who welcomed Faith Margaret, her second child with country music singer Keith Urban, into the world on December 28 via a gestational carrier , admitted she suffered agonising times when trying to conceive.

She explained: "Anyone that's been in the place of wanting another child or wanting a child knows the disappointment, the pain and the loss that you go through trying and struggling with fertility.


"Fertility is such a big thing, and it's not something I've ever run away from talking about."

Nicole who also has a two-year-old daughter Sunday Rose with Keith, as well as adoptive children Isabella, 18, and Connor, 15, with ex-husband Tom Cruise  explained she and her country singer spouse were in a position where while they were "desperate" for another child, but she couldn't get pregnant.

Nicole added to Australian TV show '60 Minutes': "We were in a place of desperately wanting another child. The opportunity arose for us, and I couldn't get pregnant.

"Children are children  you'll die for your children. And when you feel that as parent that's the unconditional love."

Eva Longoria :: Attend at 2011 grand marshal of the Texas Cavaliers River

"Desperate Housewives" actress  Eva Longoria will be the 2011 grand marshal of the Texas Cavaliers River Parade during San Antonio's Fiesta.
The festival organizers are expecting about 250,000 people to watch the parade from the banks of the San Antonio river on April 11 at 7 p.m.and proceeds from the event will go to 40 charities, including the "Desperate Housewives" actress charity Eva's Heroes.

Longoria said in a recent interview that she "applauds them for taking the tradition and combining it with a philanthropic effort like children's charities."

Eva's Heroes is based in San Antonio, Texas and helps teens and young adults who were born with developmental disabilities.

"I was extremely fortunate to grow up with an intellectually disabled sister," Longoria wrote on the charity's website. "My mother became a special education teacher because of her and therefore I have been involved with all facets of this disability since I could walk and talk."

Pop singer Miley Cyrus is all smiles as she heads into a local Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for an iced coffee on Saturday afternoon (February 5) in Toluca Lake, California.

She was kind enough to stop and pose with some fans after grabbing her drink and a yogurt to go.

Miley just recently got a new tattoo, in honor of her siblings. 
A friend told the magazine, “It’s a picture of the dream catcher that hangs over her bed with four feathers to represent her four brothers and sisters. The dream catcher is to protect them.”

Penélope Cruz :: Having New Born Baby

Penélope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem have a new co-production.

Penélope Cruz, 36, delivered a son over the weekend at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, a source tells PEOPLE.

Reponse for this couple have yet to confirm the birth of the baby boy, whom a source says remains unnamed.
 The news was first reported in Spanish newspaper El Pais and Hola! magazine.

Sources tell PEOPLE that Penelope had a baby shower at her Beverly Hills home on January 16.

She had revealed she was pregnant last September, after being spotted with an obvious bump on the set of her upcoming film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Shortly after that,Javier, 41, spoke about his excitement over becoming a father, saying of his wife's pregnancy, "I am very happy"

Julianne Moore: Same Sex Relationships Will likely be better parents

The Hollywood actress,Julianne Moore  who starred in critically-acclaimed movie The Kids Are All Right, about a lesbian couple raising kids in California  told people in same sex relationships will likely be better parents because they can’t breed by accident.

She told  “You know what else is really nice, is if you’re in a same-sex relationship, you can’t have a kid by accident, so these children are planned and loved and wanted, well-educated and well-adjusted  and that’s what you want,” 

“That’s what we’re all here for, right?”

 Also Julianne recently vowed not to have cosmetic surgery.

First and foremost, I’m an actor and so I don’t want to do anything to my face,” she said.

“I can do whatever I want, and I’m still going to be 49 years old, it’s not going to change anything.


“I don’t know that I’m going to look any younger, I’m just going to look like I’ve had something done to my face.”

"Mean Girls": New Version Coming Soon

"Mean Girls" hit theaters in 2004, it became a certified hit for Lindsay Lohan, Tina Fey, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried. The film went on to gross $129 million at the worldwide box office.

Now a follow-up film, not penned by Fey, premieres on Sunday at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.

In the new version Jo, played by "Camp Rock" star Meaghan Jette Martin, becomes friends with social outcast Abby (Jennifer Stone) in exchange for her father paying the cost of her dream college. The two then team up for take down the popular girls at school, or in "Mean Girls" terms "the plastics," led by Maiara Walsh, Nicole Gale Anderson and Claire Holt.

"Saturday Night Live" alum Tim Meadows is reprising his role as Principal Ron Duvall.

This former couple who divorced only last year but have since moved in with their lives. Sandra Bullock has adopted a child and Jesse James is engaged and gushing at the seams for his new found happiness.

Actress Amy Poehler says she wants Bill Murray to star on her TV show Parks and Recreation.

The program which airs on NBC centers around the Parks and Recreation department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana.
Amy says she’s love to work with the Hollywood star.

“I  to play the mayor,” Amy told the New York Post.

“That’s my dream. And you know what, if he’s reading this, we’ll only make him work like two hours. And he can sit in a chair the whole time. That’s my number one dream.”

Renee Zellweger : Skips Golden Globe Awards

Actress Renee Zellweger skipped out on the Golden Globe award ceremony to support her actor boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, after his father passed away.

This couple traveled to Pennsylvania together to be with Cooper's family after his loss. The fire department was also called to the family home after a small fire broke out.

A Police Department supervisor revealed: "It was not a very major fire. We didn't have to use hoses. It was out within a few minutes. Pretty much the fireplace got a little out of control."

She has been dating the actor for around 18 months - is very close to Bradley's family and was often spotted spending time with Charles and his wife mother Gloria in Los Angeles without the actor.

A source said recently: "She's comfortable enough with them that she doesn't need Bradley around. She liked showing his parents around town, and she seems very happy lately. They are kind of like one big happy family already."

Julianne Hough : Boyfriend Ryan Seacrest is "wonderful".

The 'Dancing With The Stars' professional has been dating the 36-year-old 'American Idol' host  since last year and despite rumours her boyfriend is planning to propose, Hough would only admit the pair are extremely happy together.
She said: "I hear those rumours too! I'm right there with you girl. I think I've been engaged probably like ten times by now."
"I'm very, very happy, he's wonderful. "
Ryan recently denied he is already engaged but admitted he is smitten with Julianne, 22.
He said: "I'm not engaged. I'm very happy."
Meanwhile Julianne is reported to have had a bust up with her 'Burlesque' co-star Christina Aguilera at a pre-Golden Globes party on Friday (14.01.11).

Witnesses revealed Aguilera left Julianne visibly upset when she approached her at the bash at Soho House in Los Angeles, attended by stars such as Julia Roberts, Colin Firth, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.
An insider  told "Christina really got in her face," before unleashing a torrent of verbal abuse at her, threatening to ruin the dancer's developing country music career.
The insider revealed Julianne was "visibly upset" by the incident.
They added: "The whole thing was troubling. People felt bad for Julianne."
A spokesperson for Christina, 30, denied the altercation had taken place.
