Preliminary Steps
A mini photo shoot with Katrina styling and
Jo doing hair and makeup. This time I
took a new approach and took the
photos of the shoot instead of my
usual role of styling. It was an
extremely hot day in BK, but
we had a good time regardless.

Vintage Balenciaga Inspired
My styling class had the opportunity to collaborate with the de Young Museum to be
apart of a night exhibiting young artists talent. As Balenciaga is being featured at the
museum at this time, we paired off into 4 groups and had to style a model with vintage
Balenciaga inspired clothing. It was a different but a very rewarding task.
Katrina and I worked together and our final look ended up as above.
I loved how it turned out in the end. It was pretty dramatic and eye
catching, which is never a bad thing.
Displayed are a few behind the scene and images from the actual shoot
and event. Thanks to Marzette Henderson and Theo Slavin for the photos, thank you
to CITY and FORD for the models and to the de Young Museum for the opportunity!
