This is the closest I got to them the entire run! Regardless, I run so much better just knowing these girls are up front and will be waiting for me at the end. The best sort of peer pressure!!
Credit for Sunday Run Club goes to Lucinda (girl with fringe and in the uber cool parachute top) for sorting it all out - especially the perfect, PERFECT winter weather - crisp with blue sunny skies - my favourite weather ever. Also in attendance was the lovely Kaye (in pink) who set off for lap two as the rest of us hastily departed!! and Jade, part time model for Nike!!, soon-to-be Hell Runner and probably loudest but loveliest chica I know!! WELL DONE Jade for paying off your Nov/Dec Early Morning League forfeit though you weren't meant to enjoy it soooo much or make it look quite soooo easy!!
We're hoping to repeat Sunday Run Club regularly and Lucinda's even checking out different routes so by all means get in touch if you want to join in. The more, the merrier!! Never fear, you won't be last - I take pride in being the slowest, slow coach.
So thrilled by my success this morning, I even walked the 4 miles home and am now eating cinnamon porridge with blueberries. Voila:
Could I be any more virtuous right now? Long may it last!!
p.s. Check back tomorrow for an update from Megan on her Brighton Marathon Training!!
